Matthew S. Hewerdine, 38, of Wichita, KS, while already in custody at the Cooper County Detention Center, was served a Cooper County warrant charging him with 1ST DEGREE BURGLARY and STEALING. Bond was set at $30,000, cash or surety. He remains in custody.

Lindsey M. Rotter, 33, of Holts Summit, while already in custody at the Cooper County Detention Center, was served a Cooper County warrant charging her with POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE EXCEPT 35 GRAMS OF LESS OF MARIJUANA OR SYNTHETIC CANNABINOID. Bond was set at $7,500, cash or surety. She posted bond and was released.

Kevin Aust, 45, Columbia, MO. Arrested on a Cooper COunty warrant for Probation Violation-Possession of Controlled Substance Except 35 Grams or Less of Marijuana/Synthetic Cannabinoid. The probation conditions violated were #1-Laws, #3-Residency, #8-Reporting/Directives. Bond was set at $2000 cash and $2500 surety. Aust is unable to post bond and remains in custody at the Cooper County Detention Center.

Cruz Escobar, 24, Sedalia, MO. Arrested on (2) Pettis and (3) Sedalia PD warrants. The first Pettis County warrant is for Failure To Appear-Violation of Court Order. Bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety. The second Pettis County warrant is for Possess a Controlled Substance. Bond was set at $15,000 cash or surety. The first Sedalia PD warrant is for Failure To Appear-Operate Motor Vehicle on Highway While Driver’s License Suspended. Bond was set at $100 cash only. The second Sedalia PD warrant is for Failure To Appear-Operate Motor Vehicle on Highway While Driver’s License Suspended. Bond was set at $300 cash only. The third Sedalia PD warrant is for Failure To Appear-Operate Motor Vehicle on Highway While Driver’s License Suspended. Bond was set at $100 cash only. Escobar is unable to post bond and remains in custody at the Cooper County Detention Center.
