CRAIG COUNTY, Okla. —

Law enforcement shot and killed a man wielding a bow and arrow Monday morning in northeastern Oklahoma.

Shortly before 7 a.m., police received a report of a large chunk of concrete on the railroad tracks on 4400 Road near Vanita. Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation officials said police officers and Craig County Sheriff's Office deputies responded and found tracks leading from the railroad tracks to a home in the 27300 block of South 4400 Road.

A news release says law enforcement followed the tracks in the grass and found a tractor on a nearby property. They heard a man making noise and saw him going in and out of his house.

Law enforcement approached the man, and OSBI officials said he pulled out a bow and arrow. Authorities told the man to put down the weapon, and the news release says he did not.

OSBI officials said the man waved the bow and arrow around in a threatening manner. A deputy and a police officer shot the man, killing him.

No other injuries were reported.

The OSBI identified the man as Guy Walker.
