Law enforcement vehicle with dozens of live rounds of ammunition catches fire in Colerain Township - WLWT Cincinnati

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, Ohio —

A law enforcement agency vehicle containing dozens of live rounds of ammunition caught fire Friday afternoon.

The vehicle fire occurred on I-275 east near Colerain Avenue.

Colerain fire officials said the law enforcement vehicle had a ruptured fuel tank which created a dangerous situation.

I-275 east was shut down while crews put out the fire but the roadway has since reopened.

Fire crews said no one was injured.
