Law enforcers release identity of victim in fatal crash - Rome Sentinel
The motorcyclist who was killed in a motor vehicle crash on Erie Boulevard West in Rome a week ago has been identified as 33-year-old Michael J. Bianca, of Utica, according to police.
Rome Police said the circumstances of the crash remain under investigation. More information is expected to be released by the end of the week.
Police said Bianca was riding a motorcycle westbound on the boulevard around 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7 when he collided with an SUV making a left turn to head east, coming out of the Westgate Plaza. The identity of the other driver has not yet been released.
Police said Bianca was pronounced dead at the scene.
