Law Firm Partner's 'Greatest Achievement'? Recording The Sound Of His Farts - Above the Law

The practice of law is not always as glamorous as it’s cracked up to be. The truth is there can be a lot of monotonous work that is not particularly fulfilling and it takes up inordinate amounts of time.

So, maybe it isn’t really surprising that an experienced lawyer — a partner, no less — thinks that their life’s greatest achievement is outside of the law. But what you may not be ready for is what one law firm partner told the world *is* his greatest achievement.

I once filled an entire C90 cassette with recordings of my farts. I wish I still had it. I would say it's my life's greatest achievement. I'm a partner in a firm of Solicitors and I'm 63.

Sure this is an anonymous confession Twitter feed so there’s always a chance the confessor is pulling our collective leg — or finger, as the case may be.

As RollOnFriday noted:

The recognition that a lifetime of professional achievement pales in comparison to 90 minutes of air bagels suggests the culprit occupies a senior, probably board level, position.

Some may say a legal career is the epitome of sound and fury signifying nothing, while at least a tape of fart noises is sound and fury signifying good digestive health.
