Law firm to hold annual turkey drive in Las Cruces - KFOX El Paso
LAS CRUCES, N.M. (KFOX14/CBS4) — Flores, Tawney & Acosta, P.C. will hold its annual turkey drive.
The personal injury law firm will hold the drive on November 20, 2021, at 9 a.m. at their offices located at 1485 N. Main Street in Las Cruces, as $10,000 worth of turkeys will be given to the community on a first-come, first-served basis, until all turkeys are claimed.
Turkeys are limited to one per household.
The law firm will also raffle off several prizes and present a $10,000 donation to the Las Cruces nonprofit, Casa de Peregrinos Food Program.
Casa de Peregrinos works to help Las Cruces’ homeless population and to alleviate hunger.
The Community Foundation of Southern New Mexico will provide a matching donation to Casa de Peregrinos, resulting in a total donation of $20,000 to help some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
