Law Roach's 3-Year-Old Nephew Dies After Falling Out Of Window - BET
Celebrity stylist Law Roach’s nephew died after falling out of a window on the 17th floor of a Chicago residential building.
According to PEOPLE, Chicago police say the window screen had been pulled inward and that Lamar Roach Jr. was "found unresponsive laying on the sidewalk outside of the building."
The toddler was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The accident is currently under investigation and no potential suspects are in custody.
Law Roach took to his Instagram Story over the past few days to let his fans know of the tragic news.
"Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes,” Roach wrote. “This is the toughest thing I've ever had to deal with. No one should have to bury a 3 yr old [sic] baby.”
"I keep reading this over and over hoping to not recognize his name ... my God!" the former America's Next Top Model judge added in a Chicago Tribune article.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified the child Wednesday and performed an autopsy the day after.
