Wappinger, New York – On November 14, 2021, the New York State Police from the Wappinger barracks arrested Constance A. Guy, age 38, of Wappinger, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated Leandra’s Law, a class E felony.

At approximately 10:50 p.m., Troopers were dispatched to US Highway 9 and Mac Farlane Road in the town of Wappinger for a crash involving an ambulance. Investigation on scene determined Constance Guy, operating a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox, made a left-hand turn onto US Highway 9 and struck a northbound EMStar ambulance. Further investigation determined Guy was under the influence of alcohol and had a child in the vehicle. No injuries were reported at the scene.

Guy was issued an appearance returnable to the town of Wappinger Court on January 4, 2022, at 5:30 p.m.
