LEGISLATURE: Voting law disgust - Coeur d'Alene Press

Mary Souza, until now I have watched you and your political crusade as a disgusted member of your constituency. But seeing your name attached to the recent voting laws has pushed me to call you out.

Must you always act for the benefit of your political party over the very people you supposedly represent? When I read your name it is more often than not associated with bolstering your party.

This sham of a primary election law does NOT benefit Idaho residents, only your freak version of what was once a respectable political party. You fail in your duties and stray from your real job for political gain. You are a sorry example of “public servant.” And I find it disgusting that you want to run for an even more powerful position.

The rest of this is directed to any and all Idaho residents. The Idaho GOP has manipulated the laws to their advantage. There is only one way to fight them. That’s by registering as a Republican before March 11. This allows you to vote in their rigged primary system and gives you your only chance to try and prevent these self-serving politicians from moving on.

If this doesn’t sound like the American Way, it isn’t. It’s the New Idaho way. Thanks, Souza.
