Letter: Diversify law schools on Supreme Court - Danbury News Times

What about law school diversity? Currently, eight of the nine current justices are from Ivy League elitist law schools, four from Harvard Law, and four from Yale Law. Only one justice, is not. Amy Coney Barrett is a Notre Dame law graduate.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have a new justice on the court who graduated from any one of the dozens of accredited ordinary law schools who worked their way up the legal food chain in an ordinary way? We need a mere mortal on the Supreme Court, not one more ivory tower elitist.
