Letter to the editor: Ohio should have abortion law like that of Texas - Yahoo News

I was appalled when I read about the horrible number of abortions performed in 2020. Then I was elated when I saw in the Repository that lawmakers want Ohio to have an abortion law like Texas. I hope the Texas law is upheld and that Ohio's law will pass.

Abortion is very wrong, in my opinion. The Bible says God created man and woman to populate the earth. Sex in our day has vastly changed and is common among men and women, which often results in pregnancy. People should realize that every action has consequences so they should think before they engage in sex. Only God has the right to take a life, since He is the one who created life.

I would hope that all the men and women involved in casual sex would stop and think of the consequences even if they are on some kind of birth control — accidents do happen.

Again, I hope Ohio will introduce an abortion ban just like Texas did and I pray that Ohio's law will be passed and that the Texas law is upheld. Stop killing babies; stop killing, period.
