As attorneys worked through the global health pandemic, Cramer & Anderson partner Daniel Casagrande said the biggest lesson he learned in 2020 during the height of COVID-19 was that some attorneys were not on the ball when it came to online hearings and conferences.
“I noticed most lawyers were generally well-prepared for online hearings and conferences as if in person,” the 67-year-old Casagrande said. “However, several other lawyers were informal, distracted, detached and appeared bored during the virtual proceedings.”
