LIVE: Fatal crash blocking westbound I-480 near Creighton law school - WOWT
OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - One person died in an interstate crash Friday afternoon near Creighton University.
A dispatcher with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to 6 News that one person died in a traffic incident on westbound Interstate 480 near Creighton University’s law school.
The Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office was asking those traveling westbound out of Council Bluffs to avoid I-480 as they expected the area to be closed for some time.

Fire crews and other emergency personnel were at the scene and diverting traffic at about 12:30 p.m. near the fatal crash on westbound Interstate 480, near 24th and Cass streets.
