Local Chabad Hosting Community Menorah Lighting to Honor Law Enforcement - TAPinto.net
BURLINGTON, NJ — Chabad Jewish Center of Florence, Bordentown and Burlington Township will once again be hosting a Community Menorah Lighting and Celebration Honoring Our Law Enforcement Officials next month.
This year's event, the 3rd annual celebration, will be held on Sunday, December 5 at 4:30PM at Silver Dental Associates, located at 1816 Mount Holly Road, Ste. 101, in Burlington Township.
Latkes, donuts, Menorah kits and giveaways will be available during the uplifting and festive community celebration.
This year’s ceremony is being held in memory of the victims of the December 2019 targeted shooting attack on a Jersey City kosher grocery store — Leah Minda Ferenez, Moshe Deutsch and Douglas Rodriguez — as well as a Jersey City Police Department Detective who was killed by the assailants beforehand — Detective Joseph Seals.

In addition to the Menorah Lighting, the Chabad will be hosting a Chanukah Community Friday Night Dinner on Friday, December 3 at 5:30PM. Experience the warmth and beauty of a community Shabbat dinner, and dine on a scrumptious four-course dinner with fine wine.
There is no cost to attend the dinner, but a suggested donation of $54 per family is welcome.
