Maine man sentenced for killing sister, brother-in-law in alleged feud over family estate - WMTW Portland

BELFAST, Maine —

A man who plead no contest to killing his sister and brother-in-law during a family feud has been sentenced by court.

Glenn Brown faces two life sentences and has been ordered to pay for the funeral expenses for Tina and Richard Bowden.

Officials say Brown shot the couple in their home in Waldo in October of 2020, then walked into the Belfast Police Department to report the shooting.

When police arrived, they found Tina Bowden, 64, dead. Her husband Richard Bowden was taken to a hospital but did not survive.

The couple had been shot multiple times.

According to police documents, there was a family feud over the Brown estate and Tina Bowden's stepfather.
