Man killed by deputies after shooting his father in Pine Hills, law enforcement says - WESH 2 Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. —

Authorities are investigating a deputy-involved shooting that happened Sunday afternoon.

Around 12 p.m., Orange County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home on Santa Barbara Road in Pine Hills for a domestic disturbance.

Investigators said when they arrived to the scene they witnessed a man in his 20's shoot his father and then pistol whip him. Deputies said the suspect was shot after shooting at law enforcement first.

Officials said the victim is expected to survive.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement is investigating.
