Man kills brother-in-law with car during Christmas party fight, police say - FOX 5 Atlanta

ATLANTA - Gwinnett County Police Department investigators said a Friday night Christmas party became deadly when a man struck and killed his brother-in-law with a car during an argument.
Police said detectives were at the scene of the collision on Saturday morning on Great Oaks Drive near the intersection of Windsor Oak Circle in unincorporated Lawrenceville. The party began at around 5 p.m. on Friday, police said, and went into the night.
Police said a man in his mid-30s, who lived at the home, was injured and died at a local hospital. Police said the collision appeared to be an "intentional act."
Police said the resident and his brother-in-law got into a fight early Saturday morning in the backyard of the home. Witnesses told police victim's brother-in-law got into his black pickup truck and hit the man.
Police said the driver left. A witness reported the incident to police at about 5:15 a.m. on Saturday.
Investigators have requested to speak with the driver but police haven't issued arrest warrants.
Police are still investigating what sparked the fight and have not named the victim or the driver.
