Minneapolis leaders address state law enforcement support - KSTP

Thursday, Minneapolis city officials addressed a new partnership with state agencies for added investigative and law enforcement support.

Mayor Jacob Frey, Minneapolis City Councilmember LaTrisha Vetaw and Minneapolis Police Department leadership spoke about the new partnership with the state during a news conference Thursday.

The discussion comes a day after the Minnesota State Patrol and Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension announced they will help Minneapolis police as they deal with rising crime and diminished staffing.
