Several groups have said they are planning trucker protests in the Washington area in the coming days, following a protest in Canada organized under the “Freedom Convoy 2022” banner that called for all Covid-19 vaccine mandates and related social restrictions to be lifted. Any protests could also be timed around President Biden’s State of the Union address, which is scheduled for next week on March 1.
