Dick Law, past president of Nevada City 49er Rotary, will be the featured speaker at the next meeting of Auburn Gold Country Rotary on Thursday, Nov. 11, at Awful Annie’s, 13460 Lincoln Way.

Auburn Gold Country Rotary meets every Thursday at noon.

Law will discuss Tiny Homes for Veterans – building tiny homes for those that served our great nation, the veterans.

Assemblyman to speak at luncheon

The Auburn Area Republican Women, Federated will host their November luncheon on Friday, Nov. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Awful Annie’s, located at 13460 Lincoln Way in Auburn.

Guest speaker will be State Assemblyman Kevin Kiley. This is an opportunity to learn the latest activities/legislation in Sacramento and ask questions of the Assemblyman.

The public is invited.

Lunch is $20 at the door. Check-in time is 11:15 a.m.
