New Law Is Designed To Address Substitute Teacher Shortage In Illinois - 1340 WJOL

Governor Pritzker is signing a new law that helps address the state shortage of substitute teachers. Illinois State Representative Janet Yang Rohr of Naperville, who sponsored the measure, says the plan is to get more retired teachers in the classroom. The law goes into effect immediately.
