NON-PAYMENT WARRANTS BEING ISSUED FOR WASHINGTON CO. COURT AT LAW - kwhi.com

Residents who have outstanding court costs for cases out of Washington County Court at Law are urged to pay them as soon as possible.

Washington County Clerk Beth Rothermel says warrants for non-payment of court costs and fines out of county court at law are being issued.

Rothermel says if defendants contact the county clerk’s office to pay prior to being arrested, they can save a warrant fee of $50. Once they have been arrested, the county clerk’s office must assess the $50 warrant fee as dictated by statute.

Anyone needing to make payment on a case out of county court at law can pay by either coming to the county clerk’s office in the courthouse or calling 979-277-6200.
