Oklahoma law enforcement to conduct sobriety checkpoints Friday night - KOCO Oklahoma City

The checkpoint will be from 11 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday to make sure there are no impaired drivers on the road.

OKLAHOMA CITY —

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office will conduct sobriety checkpoints Friday night going into Saturday morning.

The checkpoint will be from 11 p.m. Friday to 2 a.m. Saturday to make sure there are no impaired drivers on the road.

Law enforcement also will have additional deputies and troopers on duty across the Oklahoma City metro before and after the checkpoint.

Authorities say 338 people died in drug- and alcohol-related crashes in 2019 in Oklahoma.
