Olean man arrested for Leandra's Law - nyspnews.com

On September 29, 2021, SP Olean Troopers arrested Harry K. Unverdorben, 58, of Olean, for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (With a Child Passenger Less Than 16) and Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated – 0.18% BAC or more.

During a traffic stop on State Route 417 in the city of Olean, Troopers observed Unverdorben exhibiting obvious signs of intoxication and determined he had been operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition with a child present in the vehicle. He failed standardized field sobriety tests at the scene. Unverdorben was then arrested and transported to SP Olean where a chemical breath test revealed him to have 0.18% BAC.

Unverdorben was released with appearance tickets for Olean City Court, where he is due to appear at a later date. The children that was in Rogers vehicle at the time of his arrest was turned over to a sober individual.
