One hospitalized after law enforcement-involved shooting in Chelsea on Thursday - KGAN TV

CHELSEA, Iowa (IOWA'S NEWS NOW) — One person is being transported to a hospital after a shooting involving law enforcement in the small Tama County town of Chelsea on Thursday.

A large law enforcement presence in the area of Station and Kennedy Streets around 9 p.m. Thursday - where officials confirmed the shooting. Iowa DCI is also being contacted in the investigation.

There are still no details available as to the situation leading to the shooting. Iowa's News Now has a crew on scene and will update this story with new information.
