No wonder so many Americans are worried about the impact of debt-fueled federal spending on consumer inflation. The Beltway binge enabled by Federal Reserve money-printing may have only just begun.

On Monday White House deputy press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that the trillion-dollar infrastructure bill awaiting the president’s signature is a “once-in-a-generation bill” and “the largest-ever federal investment in public transit, clean energy transmission, and electric vehicle infrastructure, and clean drinking water.”
