Orange council votes to opt out of state law allowing fireworks - cleveland.com

ORANGE, Ohio -- Village Council has voted to continue Orange’s local ban on consumer-grade fireworks by opting out of Ohio House Bill 172.

On Wednesday (May 4), council passed an ordinance -- on third reading -- prohibiting the discharge, ignition or explosion of such fireworks within the village.
