Pair of local law enforcers receive awards for excellence - Rome Sentinel
ALBANY — Two Oneida County law enforcement officers were honored at the 2022 Annual Law Enforcement Recognition Luncheon in Albany on Tuesday.
The event was held at the Crown Plaza in Albany, hosted by Mothers Against Drunk Driving, STOP-DWI and The Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.
• Rome Police Patrolman Zachary D. Hadasz received the Excellence Award for his work in drunk and drugged driving enforcement.
• New York Mills Police Chief Robert Frankland received the Recognition of Excellence DRE Enforcement Award for his dedication to the New York Mills community and his efforts to enforce drunk and drugged driving incidents. He was nominated by retired chief Donald Wolanin.
Many other law enforcement officers were honored at the event, including winners from the past two years, when the event was not held in person because of the pandemic.
