Pam Hyjek: Law in Wisconsin - GazetteNET
Not feeling “manly” enough? You might parachute yourself onto an aircraft carrier and declare “Mission accomplished.” Or you might get yourself an AR-15, cross state lines and find a peaceful protest gathering so you can test out the law and your God-given rights, regarding “self-defense.”
If you have to unload a few rounds onto some pesky protesters who might have the gall to try and disarm you, what the hell? No worries.
The right to peaceful protest has finally — once and for all — been subordinated to the right to defend yourself, as a man among men, specifically a white man because if you happen to be Black, you won’t get far with that AR. You might even be stopped for driving while Black before you even hit the gun store and face the third-degree interrogation by the white gun store owner, I assure you.
It has always been thus, for white men in the former slave states and beyond — in America and thanks to Judge Fruitcake Nutcase, the law has been laid down in Wisconsin.
