Paul Hastings Law Firm Poaches About 40 Restructuring Attorneys From Stroock - The Wall Street Journal

Paul Hastings LLP, the Wall Street-focused law firm, has recruited about 40 attorneys from the bankruptcy and restructuring practice of its rival Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP, a significant coup in the world of white-shoe law.

A total of 18 Stroock partners will be joining Paul Hastings, as well as more than 20 associates or nonpartner lawyers, said Kristopher Hansen, a partner at Stroock who is leaving to become co-chair of the restructuring practice at Paul Hastings.
