The Professional and Personal Experiences You Have That You Feel Helps You Qualify For The Position You Are Seeking (And Why You Feel These Experiences Help You Qualify For This Position):

I served as a staffer in the US Senate for Senator Cory Booker from 2020 to 2022. There I worked with federal agencies like Veterans Affairs and the Internal Revenue Service to return over $7 million dollars in benefits back to New Jersey residents, and I also handled outreach for the Senator across the state.

Now I am a Project Manager at a nonprofit focused on economic development and revitalization in the City of Camden. Through these experiences I've had the opportunity to work with every level of Government. Through my work with elected officials around the country, I've developed an understanding of how local municipalities can work with the state and federal government to get things done. I also have an understanding of how to identify and utilize state and federal grants for community projects, which is a perspective I have brought to the Town Council.

Describe Your Stance On Having Companies That Sell, Use, Produce Or Otherwise Involve Cannabis Within Moorestown Township:

I am in favor of allowing cannabis companies to operate in Moorestown with limitations. While on council, I have committed to seeking revenue opportunities in order to help the taxpayers' bottom line. I believe we have a unique opportunity to utilize cannabis tax revenue to invest in the future of our community. With this revenue, we could pave our roads, upgrade our parks, and keep taxes low for our residents. On the other hand, I do believe council needs to limit where these businesses are located and require that they give back to our community in some way.

Should Projects Like Lenola Streetscape and Percerton Park Occur In Other Parts Of The Township? Why Or Why Not?

As a resident of Lenola, I am dedicated to finishing the Lenola Streetscape project. The Lenola Streetscape, Percheron Park, and countless other projects have been long neglected by previous Town Councils. I am focused on finishing projects, limiting delays, and delivering the improvements that Moorestonians deserve whether you live in Lenola or Laurel Creek. I believe we should absolutely extend projects like these to other areas of our community. I am in favor of any project that positively invests in the future of our community without ruining the small-town charm that makes Moorestown special.

What Is Your Stance On Mixed Use Facilities, Such As Cooper Health System, Setting Up Shop Within Moorestown Mall?

I support the utilization of mixed-use facilities setting up shop at the mall. Council has thoughtfully taken steps to add these facilities to the mall to ensure that it bounces back stronger than ever. By adding apartments, health care facilities, and food/entertainment options like Yardhouse we are building a business district that is set up for success. Increasing the ratables in this district brings in more revenue for the township and allows us to keep taxes low. If we do not invest in making this mall the best it can be, that will hurt the Moorestown taxpayer. So as the council continues to discuss the future of this space, my focus is to think creatively about how we can ensure it reaches its full potential.

Describe Your Stance Regarding Microbreweries Setting Up Shop Within Moorestown:

I am proud to be on the council that introduced and passed the ordinance to allow microbreweries, wineries and distilleries in Moorestown. We have seen neighboring communities successfully utilize these businesses as a tool to revamp their downtowns. I believe here in Moorestown we can do the same. A microbrewery would provide many benefits to our community. Data shows that they bring foot traffic to surrounding businesses, expand job opportunities, and most importantly offer a space for our community to gather and enjoy. I will continue to support the Economic Development Advisory Committee's efforts to attract microbreweries to Moorestown. As your council representative, one of my top priorities is doing everything we can to get a microbrewery in our community.

The Single Most Pressing Issue Facing Our Community (That I Have Not Mentioned Yet) Is _______ , and This Is What I Intend To Do About It:

We are in an environment where inflation is at record high levels. While the council can't fix that, our job is to respond to it and do everything we can to continue providing residents with the high-quality services they deserve, without adding additional stress on taxpayers. That's why l have advocated for additional sources of revenue so that we don't continue to go back to the community and ask for more money without having anything to show for it. I am committed to fighting for taxpayers by investing in our community and delivering new revenue sources to relieve the financial burden on our residents.
