On April 1, 2022, The New York State Police in Greenwich arrested 29-year-old Randy B. Linendoll III of Salem for Aggravated DWI- Leandra’s Law (E felony), DWI-Previous Conviction (E felony), Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 1st degree (E felony), and Use of a Vehicle Without an Interlock Device (A misdemeanor).
State Police stopped Linendoll for traffic violations as he traveled on County Route 64 in Shushan just before 8:00 p.m. on Friday night. Upon speaking with Linendoll, the Trooper could smell the odor of alcohol and observed signs of impairment. Linendoll was administered roadside sobriety tests and taken into custody for driving under the influence.
Linendoll was transported to SP Greenwich where he provided a breath sample of .27% B.A.C. He was then taken to Washington County Jail to await arraignment. A child was present in the vehicle at the time of the stop. They were turned over to the care of a family member.
