SMYRNA, Tenn. (WTVF) — Several law enforcement agencies have been involved in an hours-long standoff in Smyrna on Monday morning.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is leading the situation, with help from Smyrna police and the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office. Agents have been at a home on Odom Court since Sunday night.
NewsChannel 5 has learned a person inside the home is wanted for questioning in connection with an ongoing investigation. It is believed that only one person is inside the home and negotiations are underway.
Police have asked residents to avoid the area at this time. No other details on the situation have been released.
