Sheriff: Heavy law enforcement presence in Winchester; no threat to public - KPIC News

"Law enforcement has communicated with those in the immediate area. Again, the situation is contained and there is NO risk to the public, including Winchester Elementary," the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said Thursday morning. "More information will be released at a later time." (DCSO)

UPDATE: "The law enforcement incident at Rivers Edge RV Park has been resolved," DCSO said.

"There is no danger to the public related to this incident. We would like to thank the community for their cooperation."

WINCHESTER, Ore. - The sheriff's office says "there is a heavy law enforcement presence at the Rivers Edge Mobile Home Park" but that "the situation is contained and does not pose a risk to anyone outside of the immediate incident."
