SPRINGFIELD — The city Law Department will conduct a review into whether it is a conflict of interest for the private security firm owned by one of the new Police Commissioners to be awarded a contract to provide security at Springfield Library branches.

Word of a review comes after a complaint about Robert C. Jackson that was emailed to city officials over the weekend, including all members of the City Council.
