Standoff in Baldwin County as barricaded gunman fires at law enforcement: Police - AL.com

Baldwin County authorities are in a standoff with a barricaded gunman Friday night who fired at officers in Daphne, police said.

SWAt teams with Daphne police and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office are at the scene of the standoff near Pollard Road and Pecan Court in Daphne.

Shots were fired at law enforcement, police said, and residents near the area were urged to stay inside and away from windows.

No officers were injured by the gunfire, the sheriff’s office said.
