GASTONIA, N.C. — Two people were victimized during an armed robbery on Dec. 17 outside of a Gastonia law office, police said.
The Gastonia Police Department released a photo of a suspect Wednesday in hopes that the public can help identify him.
At about 6:50 p.m. on Dec. 17, police were called to the law office of Kelvin Atkinson in the 100 block of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Way because of a report of an armed robbery.
The robber approached a 40-year-old man and 37-year-old woman outside of the office building, threatened them with a handgun and stole their belongings, investigators said.
Gastonia police are searching for the armed male who was last seen running toward East Main Avenue and South Oakland Street.
