**On Sunday, Pitt assistant QB coach Jonathan DiBiaso extended an offer to 2023 4-star quarterback Mack Howard from Heritage Academy in Columbus, Mississippi. Howard (6’3″, 185-pounds) holds other offers from Utah, Memphis, Louisville, Kansas, Houston, Cincinnati and Arkansas State. Last season, Howard led his team to the 2021 MAIS Class 5A Championship and was named the MAIS 5A Player of the Year. In 13 games, Howard threw for 3,475 yards, 73 complete %, 47 touchdowns and only 3 interceptions.
