White & Case’s hire of a private equity partner from Dechert has fallen through, with one of the three partners set to join White & Case earlier this month opting to stay at their current base.
Private equity partner Mark Evans is remaining at Dechert despite White & Case having announced his hire to the firm as part of a three-lawyer team, alongside partner Ross Allardice and associate Tony Brown, with the latter having joined White & Case as a partner.
