Wiggins Honored For 30 Years In Law Enforcement - wkdzradio.com

Named the Cadiz Police Department’s chief in September 2019, the northern California native and military veteran served two years with the Guthrie Police Department before moving to Trigg County and its city police in 1994.
Once here, he began as a night patrolman, shifted to Housing Authority officer to help with rime reduction and public relations before working as the school district’s D.A.R.E. Officer and, later, as a training director for Cadiz Police.
During Tuesday’s Cadiz City Council meeting, Wiggins was honored for his 30 years of service through a certificate of appreciation from Mayor Todd King — with friends, family and co-workers in attendance.
King went on to note that there is a certain comfort with Wiggins as the city’s police chief.
Several council members offered their congratulations, including Susie Hendricks, Brian Futrell and Brenda Price.
Wiggins is a graduate from the Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond.
