MAHANOY CITY, SCHUYLKILL CO. (WOLF) — One Schuylkill County woman was arraigned on $10,000 cash bail after making false reports to law enforcement.

On Sunday, December 19th just after 9 PM, Christine Marie Poore went into the Mahanoy City PD claiming that "people" were after her and her friend, Timothy McKerns. She claimed that McKerns was being held against his will by a male she identified as "Sean," which she later changed to "Shane."

Poore explained that McKerns was bound with rope and placed on his knees in the living room and "Shane" was threatening his life.

Because Poore appeared to have altered details of the story multiple times, police advised her that she would be charged with false reports to law enforcement in the event that they learned she was lying.

Poore was transported to a home on East Pine Street via a police cruiser to locate where her friend was allegedly being held captive. Upon arrival to the home, an officer made contact with McKern and he said he was unaware of what Poore was referring to, as he was not being held against his will by anyone.

Poore accused the police of being "in on it" before making another fake report to police from inside the cruiser. After receiving the dispatch, police went back to the car to retrieve Poore's phone and personal belongings.

Poore actively resisted being handcuffed, made attempts to exit the vehicle, and kicked officers many times.

She was eventually transported back to the station where she was processed and placed in a holding cell. She has since been arraigned on $10,000 straight cash bail by an on-call judge.
