Yolo County law enforcement break up large sideshow in Woodland - Woodland Daily Democrat

The Woodland Police Department worked with other Yolo County law enforcement agencies to break up a sideshow that included several hundred cars Saturday night.

The Woodland CHP, CHP Air 21, Yolo County sheriff’s deputies and the Woodland Police Department all responded to the 1800 Block of E Main St. where about 200 to 300 cars were burning out, speeding and setting off illegal fireworks, according to a Facebook post from the Woodland Police Department.

All responding units worked to make vehicle stops, write citations and discourage unsafe behaviors. These actions moved the crowd out of Woodland.

The Woodland Police Department is reminding citizens that these sideshow behaviors will not be tolerated or permitted in Woodland. They are also encouraging the community to continue notifying them whenever they see unsafe behaviors.
