A grand jury has found no wrongdoing by Nebraska law enforcement on a large number of cases.
One was the case of Thomas Headley, died in June 2021 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
This came after he fired at Omaha police officers at an Elkhorn apartment complex near North Main Street and Park Road.
Headley was wearing a tactical vest and carried a handgun and a rifle when officers arrived.
